The original 3DR IRIS was an all-in-one autonomous quadcopter based on the powerful Pixhawk autopilot system. Designed as a ready-to-fly aerial imaging platform, it featured autonomous flight capabilities including mission planning via Android tablet interface. The IRIS set the foundation for 3DR's autonomous drone technology and was succeeded by the improved IRIS+ model.
