ANAC Portugal (Autoridade Nacional da Aviação Civil) regulates drone operations in Portugal. As an EASA Member State, Portugal implements Regulation (EU) 2019/947 and (EU) 2019/945. UAS operator registration runs through the official uas.anac.pt platform, issuing the operator registration number (TRACE); registrations must be revalidated at least every three years or the number is revoked. Certified UAS must additionally be registered in the national aircraft register (RAN).
