Irish Aviation Authority

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) is Ireland's national aviation authority. As an EASA Member State, Ireland implements Regulation (EU) 2019/947 and (EU) 2019/945. Operators register via the IAA's MySRS digital platform; registration is required for drones ≥250 g or with camera/sensor, costs are listed in the IAA schedule of charges, and operator registration is valid for two years. Post-Brexit, the UK is a third country — UK operators must register with the IAA to fly in Ireland.
